The 2nd IXPUG SD Vis Workshop was held July 10-12 at Argonne National Laboratory. This event, co-organized with Intel and TACC, brought together simulation development teams with visualization developers to foster hands-on coding to create & advance in situ visualizations. Experts from various in situ analysis and visualization projects gave overviews of their frameworks, and collaborated with attendees to leverage these capabilities in their simulation codes. While online collaborations are useful, physically coming together for dedicated time focused on these issues resulted in much progress made toward enabling in situ workloads across a number of domain areas.
